Woodlands Nature Station
Get hands on with Nature!
Take a step back from your hectic life, and get in touch with the outdoors at the Woodlands Nature Station.
This enviromental education center caters to both young and old, and showcases local wildlife like wild turkeys, bald eagles, deer, and even red wolves! In addition, they also offer guided hiking and canoe trips, as well as storytelling and evening owl excursions.
Seminars on gardening, nature photography, and wildlife are offered regularly for adults, while children can delight in scheduled festivals and storytelling events.
Located between Honker & Hematite Lakes, on the north (Kentucky) end of LBL, the Woodlands Nature Station is a regular stop for travelling visitors, and locals as well.
