Turkey Bay OHV Area > LBL

2,500 Acres of Fun!

Turkey Bay is a government designated Off-Road Vehicle riding and camping area. Consisting of over 2,500 acres, it's open to all types of OHV's, including motorcycles, ATV's, Jeeps, and even Dune Buggies!

Located on the banks of Kentucky Lake, near the intersection of The Trace and highway 80, Turkey Bay boasts over 100 miles of varied trails, ranging from level meadows, sandy beachside paths, rolling hills, and steep, rocky terrain. For the more daring, trails with rocky plateaus, beatiful vistas, and valley views await.

In addition to off-road excursions, visitors are also welcome to camp within Turkey Bay. Several camping spots are noted on the (below) Trail Map. Beachside camping is also another popular choice, although no hookups are available.
