Offering nearly 100 miles
of on-path and off-path horse trails, LBL is renown as a top
destination for horseback riders. Riders are able to access both
Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley, as well as visit historic sites
within LBL, such as the ruins of Laura Furnace (an active iron
production site over 100 years ago) .
After a long day on the trail, visitors are welcomed to stay the night at the Wranglers Campground. Providing a bevy of overnight necessities (such as an outpost supply center, horse stalls, modern hookups, camping, showers, and restrooms), the Wrangler Campground is a popular choice amoung most trail riders.
