The Golden Pond Planetarium & Observatory is located at the Visitor Center in Land Between The Lakes.

Visitors can experience educational programs on the 40-foot domed screen.  Daily shows are available, usually from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Shows such as "Wildest Weather in the Solar System", "Tonight's Sky Live", and "From Earth to Universe" are suited families of all ages - especially those ages six and up.

Weekend laser light shows are also available with music from various genres - country, rock, Elvis, and more - with you sitting in the comfort of your seat, watching the lights dance around the dome.

At the observatory, folks can gain a closer look at the universe through the Golden Pond Observatory’s computerized Meade 16-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope.  In the summertime, you can check out Observatory Star Parties and gaze through smaller telescopes with friends. The facility is open on select Saturdays with its activities weather-dependent.  Call for details.
